I have recently returned from a fantastic month in India where I was covering the inaugural season of The Hero Hockey India League. 5 teams from 5 different cities in India, 34 Matches and a Finals weekend which didn’t disappoint the 28 million people who tuned in across the globe to watch. The eventual winners were the Ranchi Rhino’s who beat Delhi Waverider’s in the Final to bag half a million US dollars. Not bad for a months work!!
